General comments
Indicatie voor systemische behandeling (criteria NHG):
– bij risico op gecompliceerd beloop (boven lijn mondhoek tot oor, verhoogd risico op endocarditis, een kunstgewricht of verminderde weerstand)
– niet-genezende furunkel
– furunkel die gepaard gaat met algemene malaise en koorts
– furunkel bij een patiënt met influenza of een verminderde weerstand
Voor een optimale absorptie van flucloxacilline moet de patiënt nuchter zijn.
